The past 4 years after retirement I have grown more in my profession than I ever thought possible and I want to continue to share my knowledge of 35 years of school nursing with the school health professionals across WI and beyond. I am currently the WI Director for the WI Association of School Nurses and I am honored to have that title. I have traveled to Washington D.C. and met with legislators to discuss school health issues and the importance of school nurses. I have attended board meetings with 50 plus school nurses and heard a wide range of how school nursing services are delivered in different states. I bring back what I have learned and continue to share information with the school nurses I am connected with. In June I spoke at the NASN conference.
